Surfing

Jeffrey’s Bay is ranked as one of the best places to surf worldwide! Jeffrey’s Bay is located right next to the Magnatubes, a very popular surfing destination with incredible waves. Nearby is also the world renowned “Super Tubes”! For people new to surfing, lessons are available.

Dolphin Beach

As it is in the name, Beach Cabanas is just a few minutes walk away from the shoreline. Ideally located for the viewing of dolphins and whales during winter months. In the Jeffrey’s Bay beach front area there are 6 outstanding surfing points including the famous world renowned “supertubes” and surfers can be seen riding the waves on most days. Dolphin beach contains many activities and sites such as restaurants, bars, put put, shell museum, water slides, and more!

Horseback Riding

Go for a beautiful trot along the beachfront with friends and family. There are rides multiple times throughout the day, we highly recommend the sunset ride at Papiesfontein.

Kayaking at Kabeljous Lagoon

Close to the neighbouring Noorsekloof nature reserve, this lesser known haven in Jeffreys Bay – the Kabeljous is a sanctuary for the area’s iconic flamingos – making it one of the best places for wildlife watching. Tour this seasonal lagoon on a kayak excursion along the banks of the biosphere.

Skydiving

Jeffrey’s Bay is a wonderful skydiving destination. During the free fall, enjoy the sights off mountains, windmills, and of course the beach.
